Caregivers' Day 2025!

At The Washington Market School, Valentine’s Day has become a day for celebrating our caregivers! This celebration is a time to honor the caregivers who play such a vital role in our children’s lives. The caregivers in our community help to shape the foundation of our school and often don’t get the opportunity to be celebrated in the same way as our students and families. This day is dedicated to showing our appreciation for all they do, both for their children and for our school.

The festivities took place last week in the Hudson and Duane Street gyms, where the children’s beautiful heart creations filled the space with love and joy. Caregivers enjoyed coffee, pastries, and a chance to mingle with each other. Caregivers’ Day is a special opportunity to strengthen our community and allow caregivers to relax and enjoy the company of one another. As a small token of appreciation, each caregiver received a special gift - a limited edition pink Washington Market School pouch!

We know that our school community would not be what it is without the love and support of our caregivers, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to honor them.
