Events
Our annual events are cherished traditions that bring our community together.

Each year, we host a series of vibrant gatherings that connect families, friends, and neighbors in Tribeca and downtown Manhattan, celebrating the creativity, generosity, and spirit that define our NYC preschool.
Art Show
Small Works: A Celebration of Creativity
Our annual art show, Small Works, transforms our Hudson Street campus into a stunning gallery of children’s creativity. This beloved tradition showcases imaginative, interactive exhibits inspired by each classroom’s unique interests.

Street Fair
A beloved Tribeca tradition
Our long-standing Washington Market School Street Fair is a highlight of the year—and a joyful tradition for families across Tribeca and lower Manhattan. Open to the entire neighborhood, this bustling block party features crafts, games, food, and children’s entertainment, including magicians, live music, face painting, and inflatable slides.

Benefit
An Evening That Makes a Difference
The annual Washington Market School Benefit brings together parents, staff, and trustees for an inspiring evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dancing, and a live auction. This celebration supports the continued growth of our preschool and makes a significant impact on our young learners.

Book Fair
Inspiring a Love of Reading
Our annual Book Fair transforms the Duane Street gym into a colorful wonderland of stories. Tables overflow with engaging books for children to explore, while storytelling sessions, author visits, and scavenger hunts fill the space with excitement. This magical event is one of the many ways our preschool nurtures a lifelong appreciation for reading and imagination.
